AspireX privacy

Privacy policy

This policy explains, in detail, what information is involved when you use AspireX products, what stays on your device, what limited information reaches us, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Our privacy commitment

AspireX designs focused mobile applications that make everyday life easier without requiring people to surrender their personal information. Our default model is local-first: app content remains on the user's device, no AspireX cloud account is required for core app use, and data is not uploaded to AspireX simply because an app is opened or used.

Unless you give your explicit consent, no app content is sent to the cloud or otherwise off your device for storage or processing. Where an app offers a feature that requires off-device storage or processing, that feature is optional, is described to you before it operates, and runs only after you consent to it. You can decline such a feature and continue using the app's core functionality locally, and you may withdraw consent prospectively at any time.

“No forced data sharing” means that AspireX does not require you to provide us with the personal content stored in an app. If you choose to export, back up, restore, or share information, you control that action and the destination. Features supplied by an operating system, app marketplace, or destination provider may be governed by that provider's privacy terms.

2. Scope and who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the AspireX website at aspirex.io and www.aspirex.io, our communications and support interactions, and the EasyMeds, EasyReceipts, EasyDoc, EasyPass, EasyJot, and AspireX mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”).

It does not govern third-party websites, app marketplaces, operating systems, backup destinations, or services you independently choose to use. Those organizations determine their own practices. A product-specific notice shown inside an app supplements this policy and controls for that feature if it provides more specific information.

3. How our local-first apps handle data

The apps are designed to store their working data locally on your device. Depending on the app and the information you enter, that local content may include medication schedules, receipt images and expense details, credentials and secure notes, document scans, personal notes and attachments, or reflections and wisdom.

  • Core content stays local. AspireX does not operate a cloud database that automatically receives this content, and no content is sent off the device for storage or processing without your explicit consent.
  • No account is required for core local use. App content is not connected to an AspireX advertising profile.
  • Backup and restore are user-controlled. You decide when to create a backup, where to save it, and when to restore it.
  • Sharing is user-directed. Content leaves the app only when you intentionally use an export, share, migration, or similar feature, or when you consent to an optional feature that requires off-device storage or processing.
  • Deletion is local. Deleting an item or uninstalling an app affects the copies on that device; it does not automatically erase copies you previously exported, shared, or backed up elsewhere.

4. Categories of information involved

Please do not send passwords, vault keys, full payment-card details, passport scans, medical records, tax records, or other highly sensitive app content through the public website contact form.

5. Where information comes from

  • Directly from you, when you contact us, request support, make choices inside an app, or deliberately provide diagnostic information.
  • From your device or browser, through ordinary network requests, security logs, app permissions, crash information you elect to share, and technical information necessary to provide a requested feature.
  • From app marketplaces and platform providers, such as purchase status, refund state, app version, or distribution information.
  • From service providers, such as email delivery status, hosting security events, or abuse signals associated with the website.
  • From another person, if that person includes your information in content they choose to share with you or with AspireX.

6. How we use information we receive

We use the limited information that reaches AspireX to:

  • provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
  • respond to questions, privacy requests, feedback, and support inquiries;
  • deliver communications you request and maintain correspondence records;
  • validate purchases or restore paid functionality where applicable;
  • detect spam, malicious activity, fraud, and attempts to disrupt the Services;
  • diagnose compatibility, reliability, and performance problems;
  • comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, AspireX, and others; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

We do not use private app content to train public artificial-intelligence models, build advertising profiles, or target advertisements.

8. When information is disclosed

AspireX does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or force disclosure of app content. We may disclose limited information in these circumstances:

  • At your direction. To a person, app, file location, backup destination, or service you select through an export, share, restore, migration, or platform feature.
  • Service providers. To vendors performing services for AspireX, such as website hosting and Mailgun email delivery, under obligations appropriate to their role.
  • Platform and marketplace providers. To Apple, Google, or another platform when needed for distribution, purchases, permissions, notifications, or platform functionality you use.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with valid law or legal process, enforce terms, investigate abuse, or protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
  • Business transactions. In a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
  • Professional advisers. To legal, accounting, insurance, security, or other advisers where reasonably necessary and subject to professional or contractual duties.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their independent services, including an app marketplace or a backup destination you select, are also governed by their own terms.

9. Backups, exports, migrations, and sharing

Our apps make it easier to preserve and move your information without making AspireX the custodian of that information. A backup or export may contain sensitive content. Protect it with an appropriate password or encryption option where available, save it only to a destination you trust, and delete outdated copies securely.

If you place a backup in iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, email, network storage, a computer, removable media, or another location, that destination provider or device operator can process the file under its own policies. AspireX cannot control or delete copies held by a destination you selected or by a recipient after you share them.

When importing from another product or restoring a backup, you are responsible for having authority to use the data and for maintaining any credentials needed to unlock it.

10. Website, cookies, logs, and human verification

The public website does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising trackers or advertising cookies. The web server may create ordinary security and access logs containing IP address, request time, requested path, response status, and browser information. These records help deliver the site, diagnose problems, and protect it from abuse.

The contact form collects the fields you submit and uses a brief proof-of-work calculation in your browser to discourage automated spam. It does not use a third-party CAPTCHA or send behavioral data to a CAPTCHA provider. Your inquiry is delivered to admin@aspirex.io through Mailgun. Mailgun receives the information needed to transmit and report delivery of the message.

If we later introduce optional analytics, cookies, or materially different tracking, we will update this policy and provide notice or choices required by law before applying the change.

11. Retention and deletion

  • Local app content remains until you delete it, reset the app, remove app data, or uninstall the app, subject to device behavior and copies you created elsewhere.
  • User-created backups and exports remain wherever you placed them until you or the destination provider deletes them.
  • Contact and support communications are retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal obligations.
  • Website security logs are kept for a limited period appropriate for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention, unless longer retention is needed for an incident or legal requirement.
  • Purchase records may be retained by AspireX or an app marketplace as needed for transactions, entitlements, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, and law.

When information controlled by AspireX is no longer reasonably needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to technical limitations, backups, and legal requirements.

12. Security and your role

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information we control. Certain apps use device protections and encryption for local content. However, no device, encryption implementation, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You are responsible for securing your device, installing operating-system and app updates, using a strong device passcode, protecting app or backup passwords, keeping recovery material safe, reviewing device permissions, and maintaining more than one safe copy of irreplaceable information. Do not rely on a single phone as the only copy of essential data.

If you believe you have found a vulnerability or that information sent to AspireX has been compromised, contact admin@aspirex.io. Do not include passwords, secret keys, or unnecessary personal content in the initial report.

13. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, or obtain a portable copy of personal information controlled by AspireX. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.

Most app content is controlled directly through the app because AspireX does not receive it unless you consent to a feature that sends it to us. You can view, edit, export, or delete that content using available app and device functions. For information AspireX controls, submit a request through our contact page or email admin@aspirex.io with “Privacy Request” in the subject.

We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Certain information may be exempt or retained where law permits or requires.

14. U.S. state and consumer privacy notices

Residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, certain profiling, or “sharing” as defined by state law.

AspireX does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not currently use personal information for targeted advertising or legally significant profiling. We therefore do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide legally required controls before the change applies.

The categories collected, sources, purposes, recipients, and retention criteria are described in Sections 4 through 11. Sensitive app content ordinarily remains on your device and is not collected by AspireX through normal local app use.

15. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without legally sufficient parental consent. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child's device use and determining whether an app is appropriate.

If you believe a child submitted personal information to AspireX contrary to this policy, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Local content that never reached AspireX must be managed on the relevant device or backup.

16. International processing

AspireX and providers used for website hosting, email, app distribution, purchases, or support may process limited personal information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Local app content does not become an international transfer by AspireX merely because you use the app. If you export or back up content to a provider in another country, that transfer occurs at your direction and is governed by the destination provider's terms and applicable law.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in products, law, security practices, service providers, or business operations. We will post the revised policy at this URL and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially alters how AspireX uses personal information it already controls, we will provide additional notice when required by law.

18. Contact AspireX

For privacy questions, rights requests, complaints, or security concerns, contact:

Please write “Privacy Request” in the subject and identify the AspireX product involved. Do not send sensitive app content unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure method.
